President and Conference Program Chair (2009 - 2010)
Tony Petitti has worked for the Toronto Catholic District School Board for over 28 years and has held a range of positions during that time. These include classroom teacher, vice principal, principal, School Effectiveness Lead, Program Coordinator for Health, Physical, Outdoor Education and The Arts for the Board, and now, Superintendent. Tony is committed to helping students reach their potential and achieve success in their learning. He brings a vibrant, positive attitude to everything he does and these attributes serve him well as President.

Vice-President and Conference Program Chair (2009 - 2010)
Teresa Paoli has taught for the TCDSB for over 30 years holding numerous roles: classroom teacher, literacy consultant, and school principal. Presently, Teresa is Program Coordinator of Literacy and Library Services for her Board, in which role, she oversees a range of literacy initiatives and programs. Teresa is a warm, caring teacher who has the well-being of students at heart. She brings valuable insights and wide-ranging expertise to her position as First Vice President and Conference Program Chair.

Vice-President and Communication Chair (2009 - 2010)
Kathy Lazarovits retired in June 2009 from the position of ESL/ELD Instructional Leader in the Toronto District School Board. She taught all elementary grades, worked in enrichment programs, remedial programs and with English language learners of all ages. Kathy has a strong knowledge base in literacy instruction and worked closely with teachers to help them support English language learners. She brings a rich background to her role as Vice President and Communication Chair.

Vice-President Outreach Chair (2009 - 2010)
Marguerite Campbell is currently the principal at Rose Avenue Public School in the Toronto, District School Board. In over 20 years of teaching, she has taught kindergarten to grade six as well as physical education, integrated arts and special education. In addition, she has been a literacy coordinator. Marguerite was involved with teaching and administering the Additional Qualifications Reading course at OISE/UT and also spent three years as a Course Director for York University's Faculty of Education at the Regent Park site.
