Storytelling — Art of Writers & Doctors
Dr. Lam spans both medicine and literature in his talk which draws from his practice in emergency medicine and his work as a writer. His first book, Bloodletting and Miraculous Cures, was awarded the 2006 Giller Prize – the first debut work to win this honour. Dr. Lam will discuss how those who write have answered a calling which resonates with that of the healing arts.
