Awards Banquet Speaker Education: The World's Greatest Force for Good
Stephen Lewis is a Professor of Global Health in the Faculty of Social Sciences at McMaster University, Chair of the board of the Stephen Lewis Foundation which is dedicated to turning the tide of HIV/AIDS in Africa and Co-Director of AIDS Free World in the United States. He is also author of Race Against Time. Mr. Lewis holds 30 honorary degrees and is a Companion of the Order of Canada. He will explore ways in which education transforms the lives children lead, and is perhaps the greatest, unacknowledged instrument we have for dramatic social change.
